A poor show from Swindon Town at the County Ground gave a rejuvenated Colchester United a 1-0 win on a breezy Tuesday night.

Swindon hardly troubled Mark Cousins the United keeper and former Town defender Michael Rose stuck to script and netted after 70 minutes.

Town off to Bury on Saturday hoping for a much improved performance.
