A  heavy pitch made it hard work for the Marine Ladies to stay top of the South West Woman’s Football League (Eastern Division) but they managed it with a 3-2 win at South Marston.

A return home debut after resigning from Swindon Town proved fruitful for Hayley Huckin with one of the goals.

A rainbow over the pitch and a pot of gold at each corner of the ground brought Christmas early.
