The postponed local derby with Gloucestershire’s Forest Green Rovers finished 2-0 to Town.
Before the match there was a minutes silence in memory of former Swindon manager Danny Williams who led the club to the 1969 League Cup win and on the 69th minute there was a minutes applause too.
Goals from Kaiyne Woolery on 36 mins and Theo Robinson on 44 mins edged Swindon slightly closer to the playoffs.
