Gunners 4 shot sink Marine
Was this game the worst Supermarine performance at home ?
Josh Parsons had put Marine in a dominant position in the clash but Didcot hit back with efforts from Nick Thorne, John Mills from the penalty spot, Tom Franklin and Josh Dutton-Black.
Marine took the lead on the half-hour mark when Parsons fired home from a long-range free-kick. Two minutes later the home side had doubled their lead with Parsons able to apply the finishing touch after a Chris Taylor picked out the wide man to slot home.
Didcot reply almost came in the 35th minute when Matt Woodley struck an upright from a set-piece. With a minute to go to the break netted for the first as Thorne nipped in between Kyle Lapham and Craig Curtis to fire home beyond Conor Thompson.
Within three minutes of the restart, Didcot leveled as Mills’ scored from the spot following Thompson’s trip on Pablo Haysham.
A Franklin header put the visitors in front seven minutes later and Didcot finished off the spree with a fourth 16 minutes from time as Dutton-Black saw the net bulge with a superb curling effort.
