The future looks brighter for Swindon Town after their second big home win of the week secured a play-off place.
Man-of-the-Match Aden Flint grabbed his first goals of the season with a sublime opener and a fantastic strike for the final goal, with Gary Roberts scoring with a well-taken effort to make it 2-0.
Stevenage were reduced to ten men when they had Daniel Lopez sent-off in the first-half.
With only one game to go, Swindon now lie 5th in League One with Sheffield United & Yeovil definites to join them in the play-offs. Doncaster, Bournemouth & Brentford are still fighting for the top two automatic promotion places.
“We aren’t frightened who we play,” Town boss Kevin MacDonald commented.
“After a blip away from home, we’re now showing some good form. And it’s at just the right time.”
